Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting a Direct Hire Senior Accountant for a client located in the South Houston, Friendswood area. For this position we are looking for candidates with Technical Accounting skills and past Big 4 experience is a plus. 5-7 years full cycle accounting experience, strong Excel and Microsoft Dynamics experience or other large ERP system experience required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years full cycle accounting experience
• Fixed Asset and Consolidation experience required
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Dynamics experience

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and records assets, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Downloading files, gathering support and posting journal entries to GL system.
• Maintain journal entry filing with support.
• Preparing schedules required to complete month end close and reporting processes.
• Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics AX for all accounting, inventory and cost allocations.
• Preparing Monthly ledger and bank statements reconciliations.
• Preparing Travel and Entertainment / Expense card reconciliations.
• Provide audit or project support as needed.

Salary $90-100K plus 10% bonus
